The agreement between you and this platform: who can play, how rosters and signups work, how a series is run and scored, what gets you removed, and what we do not promise.
Effective:
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Apex Legends Competitive Scrims Manager. You accept them when you sign in, register with the SOLO bot, sign a team up for a block, or play a scrim. If you do not accept them, do not use the platform.
We handle your personal information under the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. What we store in your browser is set out in the cookie policy, and the behavior rules are expanded in the acceptable use policy.
Two things override this page where they conflict with it. An event-specific format, such as a marathon or a league, overrides these rules where it says so. A rule posted in the lobby channel or in an event announcement takes priority for that event.
Apex Legends Competitive Scrims Manager runs community scrims for competitive Apex Legends. A scrim is a custom lobby where teams practice against each other. The SOLO Discord bot handles registration, signups, seeding and lobby codes, and this website is the public read surface for all of it.
We are volunteers, not a company. Apex Legends and all associated names, characters, maps and artwork belong to Electronic Arts Inc. Where we use them we do so under the EA rules for fan content, which you can read at ea.com (opens in a new tab).
Our scrims are built on the published Apex Legends Global Series rules, because they are the tested standard for competitive Apex. We adopt the ALGS scoring format, the legend ban system, the standard tiebreakers and the ALGS position on prohibited software, and we apply them to our own blocks.
This is not an official Electronic Arts or ALGS competition. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Electronic Arts or Respawn Entertainment. Where the ALGS rules name Electronic Arts as the authority, staff here are the authority for a scrim here. We interpret and enforce those rules at our discretion, a ruling of ours is not an ALGS ruling, and EA is not responsible for how we apply them. If you are competing in ALGS itself, the official rules govern that, not us.
You must be at least 13 years old, which is the Discord minimum, and older where your country sets a higher one. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has read these terms and the privacy policy and agreed to them for you.
You need an Apex Legends account you own and an EA account in good standing, and you must follow the EA terms for Apex Legends while you play here. Checking that competing here does not breach a contract you hold with an organization, another league or a platform is your responsibility, not ours.
English is required for all official communication: signups, lobby instructions, reports and disputes. Speak whatever you like in your own team comms.
You sign in with Discord, so your Discord account is your account here. We never see or hold a password. Protect that Discord account with a password you use nowhere else and turn on two-factor authentication. Everything done through your account is treated as done by you, and we are not responsible for access someone gains through a Discord credential you did not protect.
One person, one profile. Do not register on someone else's behalf, do not let a teammate play your account, and do not create a second profile to get around a suspension. Profiles are not property: buying, selling, renting, gifting or otherwise transferring one is prohibited, and every profile involved is permanently removed.
A team is a minimum of 3 players, and a signup may carry up to 1 substitute on top of them. The 3 players field the matches.
Rosters lock when lobbies are seeded. A substitute has to be on the signup before that moment to be eligible, and only someone on the roster can play. There are no substitutions once the block has started, including for emergencies. If a substitute was used to check in and is later removed, leaving fewer than 3 players, the team is dropped.
We can refuse, edit or remove a team name or logo that is offensive, impersonates someone, infringes a trade mark, or brings the scrims into disrepute. By uploading a logo you confirm you have the right to use it and you allow us to display it on the site and in the bot.
Join the Discord server, then create a team with /signups. Lobbies are seeded automatically 60 minutes before the block starts, and registration closes at that same moment. No new team enters after seeding, though staff may add fill teams to a lobby when others drop out.
You can leave with /unsignup at any point before the lobby forms, and that returns your tokens. If your team has already been seeded, tell an admin or the lobby host rather than disappearing.
Dropping too late, or dropping without being replaced, can cost your team signup priority for future blocks. Staff apply that by hand, so talk to them if a block went wrong for a real reason. Medical and technical emergencies are handled case by case through an admin ticket.
When a block is full, teams go on a waitlist and fill open slots as they appear. Staff order the waitlist by skill rating so a lobby keeps its balance rather than filling first come, first served.
A late signup is not added to the waitlist automatically. If you missed the close and want the next open slot, say so in Discord.
Tokens are how a signup is paid for. They are not money, they cannot be bought from us, and they have no cash value.
| Event | Effect on your balance |
|---|---|
| Linking your Overstat profile for the first time | You receive 5 tokens. |
| Finishing a scrim block | Every player in the block is awarded tokens. The amount is set per block by the organizer. |
| Holding the Discord subscriber role | The bot adds 10 tokens once a month. |
| Signing a team up for a block | Every player on that signup pays 1 token. If a player cannot pay, the signup is refused. |
| Spending extra tokens on team priority | Optional. Whoever signs the team up may spend additional tokens to raise that team above others competing for a place in the block. |
| Withdrawing the team before the block | The signup tokens and any priority tokens are returned. |
Your balance is capped at 25 tokens and every movement is written to an audit trail. Staff can remove tokens granted in error or earned by breaking these terms.
Be clear about what the subscription does. Tokens buy a place in a block and priority for that place, and the optional Discord subscription is one of the ways to get tokens. It does not change your skill rating, your results, or which lobby your rating puts you in, and every token it grants can also be earned by playing.
A block is a 6 game series. There is no match point format: the highest total after game 6 wins. Maps come from the current competitive rotation for the split, in a 2-2-2 split.
| Placement | Points |
|---|---|
| 1st | 12 |
| 2nd | 9 |
| 3rd | 7 |
| 4th | 5 |
| 5th | 4 |
| 6th to 7th | 3 |
| 8th to 10th | 2 |
| 11th to 15th | 1 |
| 16th to 20th | 0 |
Kills are worth 1 point each, added to the placement points above.
Ties are broken in this order:
Drop spots are randomized through Overstat (opens in a new tab). You must land in the landing spot you were given at game start. Once you have landed there, the game is live and nothing is protected: contest it, rotate off it, play it how you like.
Lobbies seed 60 minutes before the block. Once the code is posted you have 5 minutes to join. Failing to join in that window forfeits your restarts for the block. Failing to show at all means your team is replaced and can lose signup priority.
Matches start no later than 5 minutes after the scheduled time. Between games you get 2 minutes to restart the game or rejoin the lobby, and you must answer the host within 1 minute or risk the lobby moving on without you.
A restart has to be called before legend select ends. Tag the host and give your team number or name. Anything called after that is too late.
On a full lobby restart you must pick the same legend again. On a connection-based restart you may change legend.
There is no restart for a misclick, for a random legend selection, for player error, or for leaving the lobby.
We run the ALGS legend ban system. Every legend is available in game one. After each match the most-picked legend is removed from the pool for the rest of the series.
When two or more legends tie on picks in a match:
Class protection. If a ban would take every legend in a class out of the pool, the legend from that class that has been banned longest comes back.
You must select a legend during the selection phase. A random selection is final, so pre-select before you join the lobby if you care what you play.
Your connection is your responsibility. An unstable connection is not grounds for a restart beyond the limits above.
Macros, scripts, config edits and unauthorized hardware modifications are prohibited under the ALGS standard and are treated as cheating here.
Keep it professional. This applies wherever you represent yourself as a competitor here: on this site, in our lobbies, and in our Discord server.
The Discord server is an extension of this platform and the conduct section applies there in full. Keep discussion in the channel meant for it, and do not mass ping or spam.
A direction from staff in Discord or during a block stands at the time it is given. Challenge it afterwards through the reporting route below rather than by arguing in the lobby.
Report a violation within 15 minutes of the scrim finishing. After that the lobby is settled and we will not reopen it.
A report needs clear proof: video, a screenshot, or audio. Name the accused player's in-game ID, the block and the game. A report without evidence is not actionable.
Reports are treated confidentially, and we will not tell the person you reported who reported them unless a law or a court requires it. Knowingly filing a false report to get someone punished is itself a breach of these terms.
Depending on what happened, a breach can mean a warning, a withdrawn signup, removal from a block, a voided result, a token correction, lost signup priority, removal from the Discord server, disqualification, or permanent removal of your profile. A team answers for everyone on its signup, so a penalty against one player can affect the whole team.
An Electronic Arts ban results in an automatic ban here. A ban from another scrim server may result in one, at staff discretion.
We may pass evidence of cheating to Electronic Arts, to Respawn Entertainment, or to another scrim organizer where it is relevant to competitive integrity.
Admin decisions are final. You can raise a dispute and it will be looked at, but there is no appeal beyond staff.
We run this as a community service and provide it as it is. We do not promise the site will be up at any particular time, that a block will go ahead, or that the game servers will work. Blocks get canceled, lobbies get merged, servers go down. When that happens we say so in Discord.
Much of this depends on services other people run: Electronic Arts and the Apex Legends servers, Discord, Overstat, and our host and database provider. We are not liable for an outage or a policy change on a service we do not run.
The site design, the software and the original written content here belong to the operator. Apex Legends artwork, legend names, legend portraits and map imagery belong to Electronic Arts Inc.
Anything you submit stays yours. By competing you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display your team name, your player handle, your team logo, your match statistics and your competitive history on this site, in the bot and in material about the scrims.
The data is not yours to resell. Standings, ratings and match statistics are there for your own use as a competitor or a reader. Do not scrape them at scale, and do not sell, license, redistribute or build a commercial product on them without written permission. Ask staff if you want to do something interesting with the data. The answer is usually yes.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy you have under a law that cannot be excluded by agreement. Some places do not allow certain exclusions, and where that is so, the exclusions below do not apply to you.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, this platform is provided as it is and without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for the acts of another player, for a failure of the game servers, or for a service run by someone else such as Discord, Electronic Arts, Overstat or Twitch. Since we charge you nothing, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to re-supplying the service.
You can stop at any time and ask staff to delete your profile. We can suspend or remove your profile if you breach these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop running the platform. Published results stay in the season record after a profile is removed, with your name taken off, as the privacy policy explains.
The competition rules change by community poll. Format, scoring, legend bans, restarts and the rest of how a block is run are put to a vote rather than changed by decree.
The rest of this page, the parts that cover accounts, liability and your data, can be updated by us. The effective date at the top moves when it is, and where a change materially affects you we will announce it in Discord before it takes effect. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and of the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Illinois.
That said, nothing on this page is intended to deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the place you actually live. Scrims run worldwide and we are not going to argue that an Illinois choice of law strips a player elsewhere of a right their own law will not let them waive.
