Acceptable Use Policy

Scrims are practice for teams who take Apex seriously. One person can waste twenty teams' evening, so the line has to be drawn somewhere and stated plainly. This page is that line. It applies to the lobbies, the SOLO bot, this site and our Discord server, and it sits alongside the terms of service.

These end a scrim career here. There is no version of them that is fine.

• Cheating. Aim assistance, wallhacks, scripts, hardware macros, input spoofing, or exploiting a bug you know is a bug.
• Playing with a cheater. Knowingly fielding one, or continuing a match after you know.
• Account abuse. Playing on an account that is not yours, letting someone else play yours, smurfing on a second profile, or evading a ban.
• Rating manipulation. Throwing games, feeding kills, sandbagging to land in a softer lobby, or arranging a result with another team.
• Stream sniping. Using any broadcast for information during a live block, yours or anyone else's.
• Leaking lobby codes. A code belongs to your team for that block. Passing it anywhere else ruins the lobby for everyone in it.

The Discord server rules apply in full, in lobbies and in voice as well as in text. In short: no slurs, no targeted harassment, no threats, no sexual content involving minors, no doxxing, no impersonating staff or another player, and no dragging a dispute from one lobby into someone's direct messages.

Trash talk is part of competition. Abuse is not, and the difference is whether the person on the other end can still enjoy the game. Staff make that call.

A signup is a commitment. Every empty slot is a team that could have played, and a lobby short two teams is worse practice for everyone left in it.

• Do not sign up unless you intend to play the whole block.
• Pull out early if plans change. Withdrawing before the block returns the tokens the signup cost. A no-show forfeits them and costs someone else their evening.
• Do not leave mid-block once lobbies are seeded unless something real has happened, and say so in Discord if it has.

Do not attack the infrastructure. Concretely, do not:

• Scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other people, or automate the bot to spam commands.
• Probe for vulnerabilities, attempt to reach another player's account, or use an admin command you were not given.
• Submit falsified results, forged screenshots or a manipulated Overstat link.
• Upload a team name or logo that is hateful, obscene, or someone else's intellectual property.

If you find a security hole, report it to staff in Discord rather than using it. Reports made in good faith are welcomed, and nobody has ever been punished for one.

Staff weigh intent, harm and history. The table is the usual starting point, not a ceiling or a promise.

Cheating evidence may be passed to Electronic Arts, to Respawn Entertainment, or to another scrim organizer where it bears on competitive integrity, so a ban here can follow you elsewhere.

Report anything on this page to staff in the Discord server (opens in a new tab). Bring what you have: a clip, a screenshot, a match, a time. A report made in good faith is never held against you, and knowingly false reports are themselves a breach of this policy.

Every sanction here is decided by a person, never by a script, and every one can be appealed once in Discord. You will be told what the record against you says. After that appeal, the decision stands.
