Refund Policy

As of the effective date above, this platform charges players nothing. There is no entry fee, no paid tier here, no checkout and no card form anywhere on the site. We take no payment details and process no payments. If nothing was charged, there is nothing for us to refund.

Every scrim, every lobby and every page is open to you for free. If that ever changes, this page is rewritten and published before the first payment is taken, and the section below is what would apply.

Discord sells an optional subscription to our Discord server. If you bought it, you bought it from Discord. Discord holds the payment method, takes the money, issues the receipt and decides refunds under its own terms. None of that passes through us and we never see what you paid.

So a refund request goes to Discord, not to staff here. Cancel from your Discord subscription settings, and raise a billing dispute through Discord support (opens in a new tab). Staff here cannot reverse a charge, extend a billing period or escalate a Discord ticket for you, however much we would like to.

Canceling stops the monthly token grant from that point on. It does not remove tokens already in your balance, and it does not affect your profile, your skill rating or your eligibility for any scrim, because none of those ever depended on subscribing.

Tokens pay for signups and can buy priority for a place in a busy block, which is explained in the terms of service. They are not currency. They have no cash value, they cannot be bought from us, they cannot be sold or transferred, and there is no circumstance in which we exchange them for money. That holds whether you earned them by linking Overstat, by playing, or through a subscription.

Tokens do come back in two situations, and neither is a refund:

• You withdraw in time. Pulling a team out before the block returns the signup tokens and any priority tokens spent on it.
• We void the block. If a block is canceled or voided, ask staff and they can put the tokens back by hand. This one is not automatic, so you have to ask.

Tokens are not returned for a no-show, and staff can remove tokens granted in error or earned by breaking the terms. Your balance is capped at 25, so a return that would take you over the cap is lost to the cap rather than held for you.

We have no plan to. If that changes, the terms would be published here before anything is sold, and they would cover at least the following.

• We cancel the block. Full refund to the payment method you used.
• We move the block and you cannot make the new date. Full refund if you tell us before the new date starts.
• You withdraw before signups close. Full refund.
• You withdraw after signups close, or you do not turn up. No refund, because your slot was held and another team was turned away.
• You are removed for cheating or a conduct breach. No refund.
• The block is abandoned partway through something outside anyone's control. We would replay the affected games, credit the next block, or refund a fair proportion, and say which within seven days.

Refunds would go back to the original payment method, never to a different account or a different person.

This page sits on top of your legal rights, it does not replace them. Where the law of the place you live gives you a right or a remedy that cannot be excluded by agreement, including a right to a refund, nothing here limits it.

For the Discord subscription, go to Discord. For anything else, ask staff in Discord from the account it concerns and say what you think was charged and when. We will tell you honestly what we can see, which in practice will be that no charge came from us, because we have no way to make one.
