About
A scrim is a practice match played in a private custom lobby against other organized teams. Twenty trios drop on the same map under tournament rules and play a full series, so contested POIs, zone pulls, and endgames happen the way they do in an actual tournament rather than in public matchmaking.
Scrims are how competitive Apex teams practice the things that decide placement: drop routes and POI contests, rotation timing against the ring, third-party management, endgame positioning, and legend comps. None of it rehearses reliably in ranked, where lobby quality swings game to game and most teams are not playing to a plan.
Established teams who want repeatable practice against other organized rosters. Sign up as a pre-made with /signup and keep your comms, your comp, and your drop plan intact.
No roster, no problem. Run /soloq and the bot builds a team from other solo players near your rating, so you can scrim without spending a week recruiting.
Scrims produce reviewable games under tournament conditions. The player database and scrim block history give you the record to review against.
Run a block without a spreadsheet. Signups, waitlists, subs, lobby balancing, and enforcement all happen through Discord commands.
Apex Legends Competitive Scrims Manager is a scrim platform built by players for players. A Discord bot called SOLO runs the operations: it opens scrim blocks, takes signups, builds skill-matched lobbies, and updates every player's rating after each session.
Everything below runs off one database shared by the bot and this website. What the bot records during a scrim is what the site shows afterwards, with no separate spreadsheet to fall out of sync.
Scheduled scrim sessions with published times, lobby counts, and formats. Blocks open for signups automatically and close on a fixed schedule.
Register a pre-made trio or queue alone. The bot tracks the roster, manages the waitlist, and handles substitutes without manual edits.
Link your Overstat profile once and your career stats generate a rating on a 0 to 50 scale. It updates after every scrim you play.
Teams are sorted by effective skill and placed into lobbies targeting a five point range, so endgames stay contested instead of one-sided.
Every registered player, their rating, their confidence percentage, and their Overstat link. Open to anyone, no account needed.
Token grants and low priority flags exist so no-shows and bad behavior carry a cost. Decisions are made by the staff listed below.
Scrims are run by people, and you should know which ones. These are the staff who open the blocks, balance the lobbies, handle the rulings, and build the tools. Reach any of them in the Discord.
Everything goes through the Discord server. It is the only supported channel, so a message there reaches staff faster than anywhere else.
Cheating, griefing, a no-show, or a lobby that went wrong. Open a ticket in the Discord with the block, the lobby, and the game number so staff can check the record.
Low priority flags and token deductions can be appealed. Say what happened and when. Staff review the same signup and match data the site displays.
Ratings come from your Overstat career stats, so a mismatched or outdated Overstat link is the usual cause. Re-run /overstatlink first, then ask staff if it still looks off.
Signups, lobby announcements, rulings, and staff all live in one server. You need it to play.
